Joseph spent over 10 years working in design and marketing including spells in the US and France before retraining as a secondary school teacher. As a strong proponent of ‘out of the classroom learning’ for the development of skills, creativity and independence of young people, he focused his energies into running extracurricular clubs and coaching sports teams, receiving a teaching award in recognition of these contributions.

Before joining Create Development, he worked in the charity sector as programme manager for an education charity, working in both primary and secondary phase settings.
